We're looking for a dedicated and safety-conscious AZ Flatbed Driver to join our clients logistics team. Reporting to the Logistics Manager, you'll be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of a variety of products to our valued customers, ensuring a positive and professional experience. This role requires excellent customer service skills, flexibility with shifts, and the potential for overnight runs.

Responsibilities
  • Operate equipment safely at all times.
  • Deliver and unload a diverse range of products to customer job sites, including commercial and industrial cladding, metal roofing, floor decking, doors, and windows.
  • Pick up products from various vendors, including coils from steel mills and external storage.
  • Transfer products between company locations.
  • Maintain open and courteous communication with customers and job site personnel.
  • Perform daily pre-use inspections on all equipment.
  • Accurately maintain electronic and paper logs.
  • Represent the company professionally by wearing the company uniform.
  • Operate truck-mounted forklifts safely (with in-house certification).
  • Stay in continuous contact with logistics personnel throughout the day.
  • Complete overnight runs as needed (3-4 runs a week)
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Valid AZ license in good standing with a clean driver’s abstract.
  • Forklift experience mandatory.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate material-handling equipment.
  • Willingness to obtain in-house certification for truck-mounted forklifts.
  • Experience delivering to construction sites is considered an asset.

Working Conditions
  • Regular use of required personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Operation of various tools, machinery, and equipment.
  • Extended periods of sitting.
  • Ability to lift, move, or manipulate objects up to 25 kilograms.
