Job Title: DZ Flatbed Driver w/Moffett experience
Location: Ottawa Sheffield, ON
Duration: 3-month contract
Start Date: As soon as possible
Compensation: $25.00 per hour. OT after 44.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and motivated individual to join our team as a DZ flatbed driver w/some warehouse duties. 3-month contract based out of our Ottawa Sheffield location. The successful candidate will be responsible for safe and efficient product deliveries to customers, as well as performing essential warehouse duties. This role requires someone who is comfortable with physical work, has experience with flatbed trucks and Moffett forklifts, and possesses a strong commitment to safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently deliver products to customer locations.
- Load and unload the truck, ensuring proper securement of goods.
- Operate a forklift, particularly with a flatbed truck and Moffett (truck-mounted forklift).
- Perform light warehouse duties, including organizing inventory and maintaining a clean work environment.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
Requirements:
- Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving abstract.
- Ability to successfully complete a background check.
- Mandatory: Steel-toed safety shoes.
- Experience with flatbed trucks and Moffett forklifts is highly preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving products.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:30 PM
