Our client is a full-service cartage company providing expedited trucking services across Pennsylvania, Ohio and West Virginia. They have been in business for over 40 years and have a close knit, family atmosphere spread out through the ranks. · Nightly departure from Farmingdale. Make pick up @ / JFK or EWR (Newark)Airport 2000/hr on Sunday/ Tuesday/ Thursday, one stop @ AGX Clarion, Pa 16214, continue to Cleveland, Oh. scheduled arrival time 0600/hr next day
· Minimum 10 hours off ~ Come back on duty, depart from Cleveland, Oh. @ 1930/hr to Farmingdale, N.Y scheduled arrival time 0600/hr.
· Primarily No Touch freight, driver will observe the loading and unloading of the trailer
· Equipment: Sleeper cabs, Drivers are assigned a truck, Automatic, Freightliner & International. Penske leased/maintained fleet.
· Fuel card, EZ-pass and Electronic logging device
· Safely operate a 53 foot dry van tractor-trailer truck
· Properly track and document activity log
· Report any issues or incidents to dispatch. Inspect truck before and after trip
· Home throughout the week.
Compensation / Pay
· Departure from Farmingdale to Cleveland approximately 505 miles Daily lane rate compensation: $ 375.00
· Return trip to Farmingdale will pay Daily Lane rate $ 330.00
· Schedule every other week.
- Week (1) 3 round trips departure days Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday. Week (2) 2 round trips departure days Monday & Wednesday.
· Drivers average annual earnings of $ 90,000.00 to $ 95,000.00
Qualifications:
· 2 years of commercial driving experience
· 22 years of age
· Maintain a Commercial driver’s license & Medical Card
· Ability to handle physical workload
· Strong work ethic
