Job Description:
Our client is seeking a proactive and organized individual to join their dispatch team as an Order Data Entry Dispatcher. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth and accurate processing of orders for the transportation of resin and other dry bulk commodities. You will be responsible for entering and managing order data, dispatching specialized equipment, and maintaining clear communication with drivers and clients.
Responsibilities:
- Accurate and efficient order entry using the AS400 green screen system.
- Dispatching pneumatic trailers, bulk tankers, and other specialized equipment.
- Managing and modifying orders as needed.
- Monitoring and tracking shipments to ensure timely delivery.
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation.
- Communicating effectively with drivers, customers, and internal teams.
- Responding to inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Utilizing Microsoft Outlook to write professional emails.
- Learning and utilizing the ISAAC trucking program (training provided).
Qualifications:
- Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook for professional email communication.
- Ability to learn and adapt to new software systems (AS400 and ISAAC).
- Prior experience in dispatch or transportation is an asset, but not required.
- Ability to make changes to orders accurately.
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
Compensation:
- $22 to $23 per hour, based on experience. Higher compensation may be considered for exceptional candidates.
