About the Role
This Delivery Driver position is responsible for daily Customer deliveries, material pick-up from vendors, inter-branch material transfers, and the loading and unloading of materials
Major Responsibilities
- Pick up and deliver various items and products like wires, conduit etc.
- Very minimal handbombing
- Must be comfortable driving manual transmission
- Perform pre-a trip inspection of the vehicle.
- Record trip information such as vehicle mileage, fuel costs, and any issues.
- Work with accuracy in a safe and efficient manner.
- Drive safely and follow all traffic laws and regulations.
- Must be 25 years of age
- Temporary position for 2-3 months, could go longer or possibility to move to other location
- Deliveries will be in Mississauga, Oakville, St. Catharine's
Skills and Qualifications
· Must have a valid driver’s license – Class G with a clean driving abstract (to be provided)
· Must be insurable. Drivers’ abstract needs to be provided after an offer is made and before hiring
· Must be able to lift 50 lbs
· Responsible and reliable
· Must be a team player
· Ability to multitask and prioritize
· Excellent time management skills
· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
· Excellent organizational skills
