Our client is a full-service cartage company providing expedited trucking services across Pennsylvania, Ohio and West Virginia. They have been in business for over 40 years and have a close knit, family atmosphere spread out through the ranks. A strong ownership team and supporting staff, that wants to be here and are professional.
- We are seeking a Class A Truck Driver to haul general freight, including hazardous materials.
- Our client transports all legally permissible items and complies with Homeland Security and TSA regulations due to handling overseas freight.
- No manual unloading is required.
- Overtime is typically worked during the week.
- Workdays can range from 9 to 11 hours, depending on the freight load.
- Regional Deliveries, drivers go to Chicago, JFK, Newmark, Philly and a few other cities in NY and PA
- 2-3 trips per week, out for one night at a time. For example, if leaves Monday come back on Tuesday.
- All regional drivers must have Hazmat prior to hiring.
- All trucks are automatic.
- Sleeper truck - Employee will most of the time get same truck but not guarantee
