Responsibilities:
The responsibility of this position is to fully learn and embrace the role of mixing and running the pump/mixer truck that mixes and delivers the interior finishes we install in residential and commercial pools.
Teamwork is a priority in this position, and the crew will work as a unit to ensure timely delivery and quality application of all interior finishes for our clients.
Job Requirements
- Proficiency in operating concrete mixer trucks is asset
- Previous construction related experience is must
- Must have knowledge of mixing concrete and mortars
- Must be physically fit to co- lift upto 80lb bags consistently
- Operate fork lift to load and unload materials for jobs
- DZ license is an asset but client is willing to pay to get commercial DZ license
- Understanding of maintaining concrete quality during transportation
- Strong time management skills for on-time deliveries
- Effective communication with dispatchers, supervisors, and clients
- Accurate record keeping of delivery schedules and paperwork
- Physical fitness for demanding tasks and working in different weather conditions
- Preferably, prior experience as a mixer driver or similar role. Training may be provided for qualified candidates
- This job differs from most as it requires lifting/dollying pool parts into the backyard.
- Monday -Friday, Occasional Saturdays Start time 6:00 AM, Could vary
- Some overnight stays are required, with per diem provided for food and company provides hotel and transportation in company vehicles.
- At the shop, the crew will ensure each day that the truck is cleaned and loaded for the next day. Thorough truck cleaning will be performed weekly.
- Must be able to co- lift upto100 lbs regularly (bags of cement weigh 94lbs)
- Must be able to climb in and out of the truck and/or pool many times a day
- At the site, the entire crew must work together to protect the site during pool finish application and thoroughly clean the site before leaving
- Basic construction experience is preferred but willing to train the right candidate on ready mix truck
- Pay rate $65000-$80000 annual
- Peek season April-December, 2 pools per day on average
