Our client, with over 50 years of experience, is Canada’s leading manufacturer and distributor of concrete accessories. 
  • Job Title: DZ Box Truck Delivery Driver (3-Month Contract)
  • Location: Mississauga, ON & Surrounding Area Pay Rate: $25.00 / hour
  • Shift: Monday – Friday, 5:30 AM – 3:30 PM (Approx. 40–45 hours/week)
  • Contract Duration: 3 Months (Temporary) 

Position Overview
  • We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious DZ Box Truck Delivery Driver for a full-time, 3-month contract position. In this role, you will be responsible for loading daily orders and making local deliveries to commercial and job-site locations using a 26ft Box Truck.
  • This position offers steady full-time morning hours, competitive weekly pay, and consistent local routes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Daily Loading & Unloading: Assist in loading the 26ft box truck with scheduled daily deliveries before hitting the road.
  • Route Driving: Safely operate a 26ft box truck on local commercial and construction site delivery routes.
  • Hand Bombing / Physical Unloading: Perform manual offloading and heavy lifting at job sites where offloading assistance or equipment is unavailable (approximately 40% of delivery sites).
  • Customer Interaction: Serve as the professional face of the company during drop-offs, ensuring accurate delivery paperwork and sign-offs.
  • Pre/Post-Trip Inspections: Conduct thorough vehicle walkarounds and log books in accordance with commercial driving regulations.

Job Requirements
  • Driver’s License: Valid DZ Class Driver's License in good standing.
  • Documentation: Up-to-date Driver’s Abstract (CVOR/Commercial abstract) and clear Criminal Background Check.
  • Vehicle Experience: Proven experience operating a 26ft commercial box truck.
  • Physical Capability: Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs and perform manual hand bombing/unloading at roughly 40% of stop locations.
  • Safety Gear: CSA-approved Safety Shoes / Steel-Toe Boots are mandatory.
  • Punctuality: Ability to reliably start shifts at 5:30 AM every morning.
