Our client is a large food and beverage company delivering product to regular customers including, convenience stores, small supermarkets and drug stores. They are looking for 4 class 1 drivers to join their team!
Duties include:
- Stocking and rotating product on various store shelves and displays
- Establishing and maintaining positive working relationships with the primary contacts at each account, acting as a client representative
- Generating invoices and maintaining responsibility for daily settlement of cash and charges
- Building displays and setting up promotional materials
- Completing all necessary paperwork fully and accurately
- Performing all assigned duties in a safe and responsible manner, while in compliance with all laws and transportation regulations
- The deliveries will be within 150 km radius,
- 33'-53' trailers, most have tailgates. Trucks will be equipped with power jacks or custom sleds for deliveries.
- Driver may have to breakdown a skid once in a while.
Requirements for the Class 1 Delivery Driver Role:
- High School Diploma
- Valid Class 1 driver’s license in good standing with a safe driving record
- Ability to drive manual transmission is an asset
- Ability to lift/carry 45-50lbs frequently for up to 8 – 10 hours a day
- You can push/pull 50-250lbs
Shift times/Wage information for the Class 1 Delivery Driver Role:
- 6:00am – 4:30pm, Monday - Saturday
- OT After 40
