Our client is a flatbed operation that specializes in over dimensional loads. They move mostly concrete pieces, wall panels, cement blocks (sewers), tees or double tees, steel beams, rebar’s, etc. Most of their loads are chained or strapped.

- Drivers do not have to go to the US but operations prefer they do so they don’t limited themselves in getting full day’s work in. They go into the US if/when there is a contract the needs to be completed. These load may go for one week or one month depending on the contract. Day or overnight trips.
- Dispatch can start at 4 am to a 7 am dispatch and if they are busy, it can be a long day of 14 to 16 hours depending what they are doing.
- Drivers are paid an hourly rate (if driver stays within 100 mile radius) or a mileage rate if working outside of 100 miles radius (Peterborough, North Bay or US).
- Drivers get paid weekly.
- Hourly rate: $30.00. Mileage rate: $0.68/mile
