Our client is a global leader in selling, marketing, and distributing food products, equipment and supplies. They deliver to restaurants, healthcare, educational facilities & lodging establishments.
- We are looking for 2 AZ drivers for their Thunder Bay Location.
- Driver will be hauling food products, equipment & supplies to facilities across the Thunder Bay area.
- Medium to high level of physical exertion is required; repetitive lifting to 80 pounds. Use of 2-wheel dolly provided.
- While making deliveries, driver would be required to work outside year-round.
- 6am – 7am start times, OT after 8 hours/day.
- Wage ranges from $21.23 to $26.45/HR depending on experience.
Other duties Required:
- Check in with the Transportation Supervisor; verify all invoices and paperwork having to do with your routes.
- Pre-trip inspection on vehicle
- Prepare daily logbook according to MTO standards
- Be uniformed with a clean, neat and tidy appearance
- Ensure customer satisfaction; pick up cheques from customers; complete pick-up requests of returned goods.
- Check in with the Transportation Supervisor every two hours; complete all assigned delivery safely and pick up from vendors.
- Fuel vehicle and complete post-trip inspection upon return to the yard; write up service/maintenance requirements of vehicle; offload any excess product; check in with credit clerks; and return all daily equipment to designated area.
