Job Specifics

As a third generation family business our client knows the value of hard work, loyalty and keeping their promises. Presently, their team is made up of over 250+ individuals, working in 5 office locations; Toronto, Hamilton, Oakville, Etobicoke, and Calgary.

We are looking for an AZ licensed driver out of their Hamilton location delivering hospital linens throughout the GTA.
  • All dock level work, but pushing/pulling up to 16 carts per site. Delivering food items as well.
  • Mon-Fri  Afternoon shift around 3 pm start ,Local pickups and deliveries in the surrounding Hamilton Area
  • Local pickups and deliveries in the surrounding Hamilton
  • Must be able to unload carts off trailer and operate pump jack 
  • Automatic truck
  • The drivers will be going into the Hospital receiving areas to move carts on wheels that involve either supply chain materials and Laundry (this includes clean and soiled items, the soiled items are bagged). 
  • Drivers be exposed to screening at the Hospital sites and it is imperative that the drivers take the proper safety protocols as instructed by our customer and by the company. This includes wearing gloves and masks (provided by the company) cleaning and wiping down our trucks before and after each shift (cleaning equipment provided by the company) and our mandatory attestation logs. 
  • The drivers will also be exposed to all of the movements within the receiving area of the hospital, which will include the transfer of the deceased to mortuary vehicles.
