Licensed Truck/Trailer Mechanic (310T & 310J)


Job Description:
Our client, a respected family-owned and operated transportation company, is seeking a full-time, licensed 310T/310J Truck/Trailer Mechanic and/or Apprentices to join their team in the Grimsby area.

Key Responsibilities:
As a skilled Mechanic, you will be responsible for:
  • Performing routine maintenance on all heavy equipment and trucks in our fleet as per manufacturer’s schedule.
  • Testing, inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing of all heavy equipment and trucks in a timely and detail-oriented manner.
  • Solving diagnostic or repair problems using all available resources (e.g., manuals/diagrams, Diesel diagnostic software, team members, suppliers, internet etc.).
  • Maintaining accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Working inside, outside and on-site as required.
  • Completing all maintenance and repair activities in a safe and healthy manner according to company policies and procedures.
  • Working collaboratively as a team member to ensure the smooth operation of daily tasks.

Preferred Skill: Knowledge of Mack & Cummins after treatment systems is preferred.
