Job description

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining productivity, quality, and safety standards during their designated shift.

We're looking for dependable and honest professionals with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to effectively lead and support a team.

As a Shift Supervisor, you'll:
  • Oversee vehicle logistics and readiness, including coordinating vehicle and equipment movement, manually operating designated fleet vehicles as needed, ensuring proper service routing, and assisting with related paperwork and documentation.
  • Manage parts and inventory, supporting spare parts readiness and maintaining accurate inventory documentation.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant workspace, ensuring the workshop is organized and adheres to company and OSHA standards.
  • Support remote site operations, providing logistical and operational assistance as needed across different locations.
  • Act as a shift point of contact, resolving team member issues and conflicts, addressing concerns professionally, and keeping upper management informed of any significant developments.
  • Promote team communication and cohesion, encouraging collaboration among team members and other supervisors to maintain a cohesive work environment.
  • Provide oversight and coaching, observing team performance, enforcing company standards, offering constructive feedback, and conducting regular risk assessments to identify potential challenges or improvement areas.
  • Lead new-hire onboarding, clearly communicating expectations and providing training support.
  • Support data operations, including analysis, documentation, and reporting to inform process improvements and maintain quality standards. Be a champion of continuous improvement.

Ideal candidate profile
Prior experience with Git Proficiency in Jira/Confluence Proficiency in MS Office/Google Suite, especially Excel or Sheets

Daily tasks
Provide logistical support for the movement and storage of vehicles and equipment. 
Manually drive L3 and auxiliary vehicles when needed. 
Ensure the service VH6’s are on the correct PRC before sending out for service 
Assist with paperwork and documentation related to vehicle readiness. 
Support the readiness of spare parts and the associated inventory. 
Ensure the workshop area is clean, organized, and free of dangerous and/or hazardous material, in accordance with company and OSHA guidelines 
Be able to support remote working sites. 
Foster open communication among team members and other supervisors to facilitate a cohesive work environment. 
Keep upper management informed of any significant developments or issues. 
Act as a point of contact for team members regarding any challenges or issues that may arise during the shift. 
Resolve conflicts and address concerns promptly and professionally. 
Regularly observe team members to ensure they are working efficiently and adhering to company standards. 
Provide constructive feedback and coaching as necessary to improve performance. 
Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential issues, challenges, or opportunities that may arise within the team. 
Be the first level of all quality control in general. Provide new-hire onboarding and communicating expectations. 
Support the analysis, documentation, and reporting of data. Be an advocate for constant, never-ending improvement.

Required skills
1+ years of people leadership experience. 
Proven ability to quickly learn technical subjects. 
Ability to travel locally (less than 20%). 
Clean driving record with zero points on the record. 
Advanced knowledge in MS Office/Google Suite, especially Excel or Sheets 
Detail oriented 
Team player that collaborates well cross-functionally. 
Excellent written and verbal skills. 
Must be honest, responsible, and an outstanding communicator 
Pass a background check, MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) check, and drug screen. 
Must comply with the Substance Abuse Policy.

Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM–10:30 PM
