Our client is an on-demand, autonomous ride-hailing companyWe are looking for a Shift Supervisors - Base Operations to support daily fleet operations.


Job description


In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining productivity, quality, and safety standards during their designated shift.

We're looking for dependable and honest professionals with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to effectively lead and support a team.

Available shifts:
Mon-Fri 6AM-2:30PM
Mon-Fri 2PM-10:30PM

As a Shift Supervisor, you'll:
  • Oversee vehicle logistics and readiness, including coordinating vehicle and equipment movement, manually operating designated fleet vehicles as needed, ensuring proper service routing, and assisting with related paperwork and documentation.
  • Manage parts and inventory, supporting spare parts readiness and maintaining accurate inventory documentation.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant workspace, ensuring the workshop is organized and adheres to company and OSHA standards.
  • Support remote site operations, providing logistical and operational assistance as needed across different locations.
  • Act as a shift point of contact, resolving team member issues and conflicts, addressing concerns professionally, and keeping upper management informed of any significant developments.
  • Promote team communication and cohesion, encouraging collaboration among team members and other supervisors to maintain a cohesive work environment.
  • Provide oversight and coaching, observing team performance, enforcing company standards, offering constructive feedback, and conducting regular risk assessments to identify potential challenges or improvement areas.
  • Lead new-hire onboarding, clearly communicating expectations and providing training support.
  • Support data operations, including analysis, documentation, and reporting to inform process improvements and maintain quality standards. Be a champion of continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • 1+ years of people leadership experience
  • Clean driving record with zero points on the record
  • Pass a background check, MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) check, and drug screen
  • Must comply with the Substance Abuse Policy
  • Proven ability to quickly learn technical subjects
  • Advanced knowledge in MS Office/Google Suite, especially Excel or Sheets
  • Must be a detail-oriented team player capable of collaborating well cross-functionally
  • Must be honest, responsible, and an outstanding communicator both written and verbally
  • Ability to travel locally (less than 20%)

Preferred Skills:
  • Prior experience with Git
  • Proficiency in Jira/Confluence
  • Proficiency in MS Office/Google Suite, especially Excel or Sheets
